See through 2023

Ingunn Viste (N), Marie J.Engelsvold (DK). Canteen29, Filmtorvet 68, 3500 Værløse.

Can we grasp energy? what we cannot see, but nevertheless feel?  Sometimes to an extend where it becomes a deep knowing.

Though we are working with different medias and materials we are both trying to visualize, or get a hold on the unseen. In this show we experiment to how we can make space, hold space, contain space in the way we combine our works.... and intertwin

Marie J.Engelsvold is working in a wide range of materials and medias, capturing inner states of beingness and energy patterns.
In this show I'am working with geometrical hanging constructions. Fragile transparent constructions of strings and ropes of knitted yarn, thin wood sticks and textiles. Framing and containing spaces in air.

Ingunn Viste is working with photography and mixed media. Her images are often centered around the deep connection between human and nature. In this exhibition, she emphasizes the aesthetics of the corporeal object. By focusing on the depth in light and shadows, she is seeking an embodiment of the invisible that surrounds our lives.
